How Many Inches Are Fila Disruptors

Fila Disruptors

Fila disruptors is a basketball shoe introduced by Nike in October 2016. The shoe was originally marketed as an updated version of the Nike Air Force 1, with a similar look and feel but added features designed for basketball players. However, due to production issues, many retailers have begun selling the shoes for $170 instead of the original $150 price tag.

Unlimited Information About Fila Disruptors

Traction

So far I have found that the Fila Disruptor’s traction is really good on the court. However, one thing to note is that the rubber on the toe area can be slippery on a smooth surface. This can be easily fixed by wearing thicker socks to cover more of the rubber toe area.

Cushioning

The cushioning for Fila Disruptors is really soft and comfortable. I am a big guy, and I have found the shoe to be extremely comfortable on the court.

Fila Disruptors Sole

The sole is similar to that of a Nike Air Huarache. So far, the sole has been great on public courts. However, I have noticed that it scuffs up really easily on asphalt courts. Like any other rubber outsole though, it does tend to grip pretty well when I’m jumping off slants or throwing back cuts.

Midsole

The midsole is pretty much what it looks like, a very comfortable cushioning. The EVA foam that Fila uses is soft and helps improve the footwork of young players. The midsole provides a nice amount of shock absorption, which allows the shoe to hold up well on hard courts.

Upper

The upper for Fila Disruptors is extremely light. I have found that it doesn’t hold onto odors very well though. However, I have had no issues with it holding onto my foot. The upper is 3-D molded to conform around your foot and provide a tight fit.

So far the shoe has held up well in the color department as well. After playing for about 4-5 hours a day for about 6 days straight, there are absolutely no signs of wear and tear on the shoe whatsoever.

Fila Disruptors Technical Stats

  • 11 1/4 inches (US 14)

Women’s Fila Disruptors Sizing

The average person who shops at the SD Foot Locker location will have to pay around $170 for the shoe in order to receive the features listed above. However, as of now, most stores selling the shoe are selling it for around $150 instead of the original price which is really awesome.

Fila Disruptors cost around $170 on Nike.com and $150 at Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs Sports, or any other major sports store. You can also find Fila Disruptors at Fila.com for $135.

So far the shoe has been great for me and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good-looking basketball shoe that is extremely comfortable and has all the features of a basketball shoe available today.
